“The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience.”

My name is Aaron Jones, and I’ve been using Gopro Cameras for a little over a year now. I know a year might not seem a long time, yet I used it almost everyday of the year. My ambition for a future job is to be a Photographer/Videographer, so I am always trying to find new ways to improve my skills using my Gopro camera for anything, whether it be a panorama or just taking photos for the sake of it. The main videos I make are sailing videos, as sailing is my main sport, but I always bring my camera with me wherever I go, because as Eleanor Roosevelt said you have to “reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience.”  And I want to share these experiences with you!  So far I’ve used my GoPro for different occasions, many different boats, and many different climates! Such as the Tatra Mountains of Slovakia and soon to be the High cliffs and waters of Lake Garda!

The way I found out about this project was from my friend Tim. He probably knew more about the GoPro cameras than I did before he even had his, so there was no wonder he found this project, but I’m glad he did find it and tell me. The project is truly incredible and I enjoyed taking part in it so much!  I have to say, it was nearly a treat getting to open the emails about the project. I would nearly come rushing in the door from school and drop everything just to read the email. The project is something I would hope to take part in every year and I hope it continues to expand as it is, especially with the other projects like GoPanoramic and the Far Side Project! I would like to say a huge thank you to, Sébastien Barrier, William Raymond and last but definitely not least Mike Cook for the huge amount of work they have all put into the project!
